The Ukrainian folk song ensemble "Lastivočki" and the members of the senior club, led by Olena Lastivka, performed several Ukrainian songs. One of the organization's leaders, Žana Tolstikova, gave a welcome speech, thanking her for the visit and briefly talking about the center's main activities. Her presentation was complemented by a short film about the "Malva" community and its aspirations.

Director of the center Sergey Akhmetov organized a short tour, demonstrated products, essential household items intended for the Ukrainian front, wounded soldiers and refugees.

Kara McDonald thanked all the center's employees and volunteers for their very important, noble daily work. The lady ambassador emphasized that she was moved by the fact that, despite all the trials, Ukrainians unite with the people of Lithuania, do not lose faith, warmth and responsibility. According to K. McDonald, the preservation of culture and traditions is very important, and the live performance of Ukrainian songs is a wonderful gift.

The warm, emotional and friendly meeting ended with tea and tasting of Ukrainian baked goods.
