Plast Manager Ina Dovhaliuk

At the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Ina Dovhaliuk, together with her children, was forced to leave her hometown of Starokostantyniv (Chmelnycki Oblast). The trip to a safe place was difficult: long hours in congestion, 10 km of walking without water and food. Finally, the evacuation bus brought refugees to Lithuania.

The Inai family settled in Kuršėnai, where she was given free housing. Initially, Irena hoped to return home quickly, but the war continued, so I had to look for a job. Initially, she worked as a teacher and later as head of the Children's Tourism Group.

After moving to Šiauliai, Irena became acquainted with local scouts, which became a source of inspiration and support. Understanding the meaning and importance of youth education, Inaa decided to establish the Ukrainian Plast branch in Šiauliai. He had enough experience because Plastt also led the hometown in his hometown.

The mission of Ina is to convey knowledge to the younger generation, to develop love for the homeland, history, nature, and help young people become a dignified member of society. Inaa claims that she is also educated on the same values as Plast.
