The mural was created as part of the international project "A Million Voices: Uniting Through Stories". Her idea was inspired by the personal stories and experiences of Ukrainians, thoughts about freedom, home, identity, hope and life away from the Motherland.
We are especially glad that a Ukrainian song became part of this event. Lastivočki treated the audience to their musical performance, reminding us once again that culture can also tell our stories, help keep us connected to Ukraine and unite people even far from home.
Thank you very much AY Institute for the invitation, warm reception and meaningful initiative that gives the opportunity for Ukrainian voices and stories to be heard and remain visible in the European space.
