The answer is not easy and treated in various ways. One of the simplest versions is: a bunny in many places - regardless of religion or culture - is seen as a symbol of holiness, fertility or mystical connection to the Moon.
According to the New Testament, Christ rose to redeem the sins of all of us. Revival and resurrection are associated with spring, as it is at that time that trees, flowers blossom and sown yields again after a long winter. It is a time of yield and animal reproduction. Thus, this is the case of Easter, which are associated not only with the resurrection of Christ, but also to the bunny carrying eggs.
Most likely, the bunny became a symbol of Easter in the 16th century in Germany. It became popular in America a little later - about 1700 years, when many Germans began to emigrate to this country. This mythical creature was invented the same principle as Santa Claus, carrying gifts for good children. Only in this case, the gifts became printed eggs, sometimes candy.
Whatever the right answer is, children always have fun playing, getting sweets. And if you make a sustainable "eco -friendly" bunny with your mom, then joy can be even greater.
To that end, young moms with children gathered in the "Malva" spaces that, under the guidance of the wonderful designer Anna Burmistrovs-Procoko Anuta Burmistry-Protsenko To make fun Easter hares from the cuttings, toilet paper rolls, which will decorate the festive environment.
