Many meaningful activities took place during the project period, which strengthened the environmental awareness of young people and encouraged their active involvement in community life. The aim of the project was not only to provide knowledge, but also to develop practical skills.
Plastuns participated in educations, creative workshops, learned recycling methods, responsible consumption and discussed global challenges in the context of local communities. During the activities, special attention is paid to critical thinking, principles of gender equality and inclusion. A large part of the sessions focused on community - how everyone can contribute to creating a friendlier, safer and more sustainable environment.
Plastunai actively cooperated with Šiauliai scouts, joining various initiatives and environmental management activities.
The project has ended, but the acquired experience and knowledge remain a solid foundation for further youth activities. Plastuns will continue to develop community, volunteering and environmental initiatives, and Malva will continue to support their steps towards a sustainable and responsible future.
The project was financed by the funds of the European Union and the Lithuanian Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Fund.
