Nestoras Kyzenko 1956 Graduated from the Tbilisi Academy of Fine Arts and, immediately after his studies, joined his native Ukrainian art life with his colorful canvases. He was very close to the views of the village, because he came from the village himself - was born in the beautiful Carbian parish in the Neligailovsk district. He painted landscapes, everyday life of the native region, still lifes, portraits. In his canvases, the artist immortalized hundreds of Ukrainian cultural monuments, especially the churches, so his works are valuable not only artistic but also historically.
1969 Nestor Kyzenko became the winner of the Ukrainian State Art Prize, since 1981. He devoted himself to the work of an art teacher and lecturer. In Ukraine, the artist is called "the soul of the rural landscape".
The artist has organized exhibitions in Kyjiv and other Ukrainian cities, Tbilisi. His works are stored in the Museums of the amounts and Kyjiv I. Gončiaras. The most famous works: “T. Shevchenko's portrait "," Morning Fog "," First Snow "," Water Mill "," Kobzarius "," Holodomor "and more. Outside his country, the painter became famous for the picture "The Death of Hunger", which reflects the tragic events of Ukraine.
The works were gladly lent by their owner, priest and collector Rimas Gudelis.
During the evening at the Staircase Gallery, the artist of other Ukrainian artist Milai Cheprasovos - Legoland of War, will also be available. The 3D technique printed works are real objects from the war zone in Ukraine, which are fascinated by artistic significance but shocks in a realistic sense.
Mila Cheprasova Born in 1988. In Zaporozhye, currently living and working in Kyjiv. Since 2019 It creates contemporary conceptual art, experiment with various media, focuses on concepts.
The artist has participated in more than 30 exhibitions in Ukraine and foreign museums, galleries, art spaces, and participates in art residences. Her artistic practice is focused on emotional maturity and the integrity of the individual. Works with research on the topics of personal boundaries, inferiority, and overcoming dignity.
The event will also be attended by the collectives led by actresses Olena Lastivka: folklore ensemble Lastivočki and drama Circle Art-Studija will participate in the event.
