For several years Andrijus and Liuba have been living in Lithuania, near us, after they were forced to leave their native home in the Kharkiv region.
We are very happy that the Swedbank team joined the sponsors of UIC "Malva", with whom the directions of support were discussed. Support is provided to the following target groups:
· for Ukrainians who arrived after the start of the war in Ukraine (urgent case - death of a loved one, illness);
· for newly arrived Ukrainians from war zones, if working relatives do not live in Šiauliai;
· to meet the special needs of disabled people (the payment can be multiple);
· for the support of seniors living in poverty (for medicines, procedures or other essential needs);
· for mothers with many children, whose husbands remained in Ukraine;
· to meet the educational needs of children raised by single mothers (fees for non-formal education, support for the purchase of stationery, etc.).

WHEN DESTINY IS EXTREMELY MERCILESS...
We often tell stories about single mothers who need help. But this time we want to talk about a single father.
BACKPACK OF HOPE
After the death of her husband, in August 2025, Lena came to Šiauliai from the Zhytomyr region, fleeing from constant fear, looking for a safe place for herself and her son.
SMALL DAILY VICTORIES
UIC "Malva" not only supports the front and organizes activities - we also see those who quietly fight for a dignified life every day here in Lithuania.
