During the hike, we listened to the songs of birds, looked for rare plants, and watched how the swamp and forest landscape changed.

Because of the wonderful Kristina Kristina children learned about Lithuanian partisans - how they lived, under what conditions they fought for their homeland. We compared it to the activities of the Ukrainian partisans - remembering that our nations are united by a common history and a common enemy.

We also immersed ourselves in the history of that period and discovered new facts about Lithuania's past.

And of course - today we celebrate Mother's Day!
Our scout mothers are extraordinary.
They are active, brave and care about the future of their children and Ukraine. They meet us after the hikes, and together they are happy with our achievements.
