Volunteers, friends and community members of the Ukrainian integration center "Malva", folklore ensemble "Lastivočki" and theater and film actress Olena Lastivka marched together in a festive procession dedicated to the 790th birthday of the city of Šiauliai.
We had a lot of fun being part of this colorful celebration, meeting familiar faces, sharing smiles and good mood, and celebrating Šiauliai's birthday together with the entire city community.
For many Ukrainians, Šiauliai became a city where they found not only safety, but also new friends, fellowship and a place for their activities and ideas.
Happy 790th birthday, Šiauliai!
