Project "Alternative Investment Detector (AID)" the goal is to increase the opportunities of socially vulnerable, socially vulnerable and marginalized individuals to actively participate in the community and the labor market by developing social integration services.
We will strive for this by looking for innovative solutions in the development and provision of social integration services. Looking for innovative social integration services and non-traditional solutions, we foresee several possibilities.
The first is to look for ways to do better what is already being done at the moment. In Lithuania, there are a number of organizations that have been operating for many years and provide social integration services, but the results they achieve are not always sustainable.
During the project, we will also look for ways to enable the currently applied models/methods/tools to work more efficiently.
The second is to look for ways to provide social services in a different, new way. We will encourage organizations to look for different, new ways and forms of providing services, creating jobs and experimenting. When we talk about social integration services, we always emphasize the duty and necessity of helping people who face challenges integrating into the labor market or society, but we often forget that financing social services is not only an expense line, but also an investment.
During the implementation of the project, we will assess the profitability of the financed services, the added value created. We will take care of the dissemination of the obtained results both at the regional and national level. Main partners of the project: National Network of Poverty Alleviation Organizations, National Coalition of NGOs, Forum of Lithuanian Disability Organizations, Information and Support Center of Non-Governmental Organizations, NGO Law Institute.
The project is financed by the European Social Fund.
