The project "ECO.SCOUTS" (ЕКО ПЛАСТ) is implemented in the period from 2026. March 1 until 2026 October 1 The project is financed by the King Baudouin Foundation, implementing the initiative "EU staff support for the people of Ukraine".

The goal of the project is to develop the ecological awareness of young people, promote a sustainable lifestyle and strengthen community cooperation through scouting and educational activities.

Project partners: youth organization in Šiauliai "Plast - Ukrainos skautai", association Šiauliai scouts tuntas and the 609th company of the 6th rifle team of General Povilas Plechavičius of the Lithuanian Rifle Association.

Various educational and practical activities are planned during the implementation. During the summer period, three camps are organized for ecological education and the formation of practical skills. The project participants already took part in a trip to Vilnius, where they met with the scout community, and also visited an ecological farm, where they learned about the use of wool as a natural and sustainable material.

During the project, lectures on the topics of ecology and globalization are also planned, which promote critical thinking and environmental awareness. In the fall, an educational trip to the Kuršėnai clay workshop is planned, where participants will get to know clay as an ecological material and create ceramic products themselves.

The total value of the project is 15,000 euros.
