The last day of Shrove Tuesday (Užgavėnės) is one of the funnest and most archaic Lithuanian village holidays, preserving ancient traditions of agrarian magic, marking the last day of the winter solstice and the coming year.
On February 24 at 6 p.m., the Šiauliai city cultural center "Laiptų galerija" invites you to an exhibition of paintings by the outstanding Ukrainian artist Nestor Kizenka (1926 - 2007), dedicated to the 3rd anniversary of the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
